How does the repair of your turbo work?

Our repair service follows several steps to ensure your request is handled clearly and appropriately.

  1. You send us your request. Before any work is carried out, contact us using the form on this page, providing in particular your contact details, information about your vehicle, the reference of your turbo, the symptoms or problem encountered, and any other useful information. The more precise your request, the more effectively we can advise you.
  2. We receive your turbo. Once the handling arrangements have been agreed with our team, you can send us your turbo for inspection. Pack it carefully to avoid any damage in transit. On arrival, your turbo is logged and linked to your request.
  3. We identify your request. Our team checks the information provided and precisely identifies the turbo model, its reference, the vehicle concerned, the reported symptoms and the type of work likely to be required. This step ensures that your request matches the part received.
  4. We carry out a diagnosis. Your turbo is inspected to determine the cause of the problem and its general condition. Depending on the situation, we check the various components and identify those that are worn, damaged or in need of work. At the end of the diagnosis, we determine whether a repair is possible and which operations are required.
  5. You may be offered a quote. When the work requires prior approval, we send you a repair quote: you know the cost of the work before it is carried out. No work requiring your prior consent is started without your approval, in line with the arrangements agreed with our team.
  6. We carry out the repair. Once the handling has been approved, our team carries out the necessary operations. The work depends directly on the condition of the part and the diagnosis made: the aim is to restore the turbo to working order by replacing or repairing the affected components where technically possible.
  7. Turbo inspection. Once the work is complete, the turbo is inspected before being returned, to check the work carried out and make sure the part meets the criteria set out as part of our service.
  8. Your turbo is returned to you. Once it has passed inspection, your turbo is prepared and shipped to the agreed address. You are kept informed of the progress of your request until your part is returned.

Why have your turbo repaired?

Having your turbo diagnosed and repaired can, depending on its condition, extend its service life without having to replace it entirely straight away. Each request is assessed individually in order to offer a solution suited to the actual condition of the part.

  • personalised handling
  • precise identification of your turbo
  • a diagnosis before any work
  • clear information on the operations required
  • a quote when necessary
  • an inspection before the part is returned

Which problems may call for a diagnosis?

Several symptoms can justify having your turbo checked, for example:

  • loss of power
  • unusual noise coming from the turbo
  • abnormal whistling
  • excessive smoke
  • unusual oil consumption
  • irregular engine running
  • deteriorated or damaged turbo
  • mechanical play found in the part

These symptoms can, however, have different causes. Diagnosing the turbo makes it possible to determine the nature of the problem more precisely.
